What this site contains

This site contains guide text, headings, tables, placeholder panels and links. It does not contain app screenshots, broadcast recordings, live streams or download files. The logo used on this site is the logo supplied by the site owner for this guide site, and it is used only for this site. If a reader believes that any content on this site infringes their copyright, the notice process below explains how to raise that concern, and what information should be included so that it can be checked.

A concern about a stream, a channel or an app itself is different from a concern about this site. This site does not control streams, channels or apps, and it cannot remove, change or control content on another website or in another app. A concern about another website or app should be raised with that website or app, or with its host, rather than with this site.

How to send a copyright notice

A copyright notice should be sent to the contact address shown in the placeholder panel below, once a working contact email has been supplied by the site owner. Until then, the placeholder is clearly marked, and no email address has been invented. A notice should include enough detail for the site owner to identify the work and the content concerned, without sending sensitive information that is not needed.

  • Identification of the copyrighted work, in enough detail to identify it.
  • The exact address of the page on this site where the content appears.
  • A description of the content concerned, and why it is said to infringe.
  • Contact details for the person sending the notice, so a reply can be sent.
  • A statement that the person believes, in good faith, that the use is not authorised.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that the sender is authorised to act for the copyright owner.
  • A physical or electronic signature, or the equivalent accepted for the notice.

A notice that does not include the detail above may be difficult to check, and the site owner may ask for more detail before acting. Sending a notice does not, on its own, prove that content infringes, and a notice that is inaccurate or made in bad faith may have legal consequences for the sender. A sender should check their notice carefully before sending it.

What happens after a notice

When a notice is received, the site owner should check the content concerned, check whether it is guide text written for this site, a placeholder, a link, or content supplied by someone else, and decide what action, if any, is needed. Content that is found to infringe, or that cannot be shown to be lawful, should be removed or changed. Content that is original guide text, or that is used lawfully, should not be removed only because a notice was sent, and the sender should be told why, in general terms, if a reply is sent.

There is no fixed time for a reply stated on this site, because none has been supplied by the site owner, and a time should not be invented for this page. A sender should allow a reasonable time for a notice to be read and checked, and should include enough detail in the first notice to avoid a long exchange of requests for more information.

Counter-notices

If content is removed following a notice, and the person responsible for that content believes that it was removed by mistake, or that it does not infringe, that person may send a counter-notice. A counter-notice should identify the content that was removed, give the address where it appeared, state, in good faith, that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and give contact details, with a signature or equivalent. A counter-notice should be sent to the same contact address as a notice, and it should be checked in the same careful way.

A counter-notice does not, on its own, restore content, and a decision should be based on the facts, not on the fact that a notice or a counter-notice was sent. If the parties cannot agree, the dispute should be settled through the proper legal route, and this site should not be used as a place to argue a copyright dispute in public.

Repeat concerns and misuse

Where the same content is repeatedly raised, or where notices are repeatedly sent about content that has been checked and found to be original guide text, the site owner may keep a record of the notices and the checks made, and may ask for more detail before acting again. Notices that are abusive, threatening or made in bad faith may be ignored, and may be reported through the proper route. This page does not set out a repeat-infringer policy for users, because this site does not have user accounts for uploading content, and no such policy is stated here.

Contact placeholder

Copyright contact email: [contact email to be added by the site owner]

This is a clearly marked placeholder. No contact email has been invented for this site. Use the Contact page for the same placeholder, and do not send sensitive information until a working contact email has been supplied by the site owner.
